Drogoradz [drɔˈɡɔrat​͡s] (formerly German Hammer) – is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Police, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north-west of Police and 25 km (16 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin.

History

Drogoradz, known as Hammer to its residents while part of Germany from 1815 – 1945, became part of Poland after the end of World War II and changed its name to the Polish Drogoradz[3].
